Is it a subscription?
No. Each purchase is one payment for 6 months of access. Nothing renews and no card is charged again.
One exam or all exams?
Buy one exam if you are writing one. Many candidates write a legal and process exam plus a technical exam such as House or Small Buildings. All exams covers every exam for 6 months in one payment.
What is free?
The study guides and the BCIN guide pages are free for everyone. A free account adds a short practice quiz for each exam, with every answer explained.
Does it match the real exam?
The simulations follow the real format: 70 multiple choice questions in 3 hours, open book, with a 70% pass mark. Every question is original, written from the 2024 Ontario Building Code (O. Reg. 163/24), and every answer cites its article. They are not real exam questions.
Does this include the exam fee?
No. The exams are set by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and delivered by Humber Polytechnic: you register and pay the exam fee with Humber. Prep here is a separate purchase.
